The Greatest Miracle

Upon the edge stands he Moses
He, with unblinking eye, pauses
The whispers of the mocking waves
Try to undo his faithful nerves
The dying flame of the big red ball
Paints on the see of a nation's fall
                                       He sighs...

Pharaoh's stallions do not relent
But to the Voice of God he gives intent
Up his arm he rolls his cuff
And spreads across the sea his staff
Then a stiff breeze of uncommon might
Makes his beard take to flight
                                       He smiles...

CLANG!----The nail drove deep in flesh
Delivering a batch of pain afresh
They erect the cross in haste
And lay our Savior's life to waste
They spill his blood his red, red blood
He forces a groan and leans forward
                                        And dies...

The Lord hurls forth a mighty breeze
That thrust itself between the seas
Throws them apart and bids them freeze
They swell and heave, obey and ease
So the sons of faith and her daughters
May to Canaan pass through the waters
                                          They pass...

The sea was red and very red
For on the cross our Savior bled
His blood parts so we may be free,
From sin to Salvation walk we .
Pharaoh the sin, under layers of sea

Lies buried till eternity!
