The Astronaut

Spaceship wandering in empty black,
Lone Astronaut cradled below the deck,
Hoping to chance upon a swirl of suns,
A blossom of planets, a twirl of moons.
One word from you can light my sky,
And two can birth a galaxy.
To dance among your nebulas,
And gaze into your oculus,
And see the rainbows in the stars,
Is the yearning of my years.
I dream of you infinitely,
Sailing through eternity.
