Petals Beautiful

Matthew 6:25-34

I want to be drapped in petals beautiful
And awe the world, like lillies white and true.
You said, tomorrow my thought I should give not
What I'll drink or sup, or wear at court.
I want to walk on paves of gold,
Where cherubs trumpets golden hold,
The path of my dreams and gifts I own;
I've found the highway to the Kingdom.
I close my eyes and shut my mind,
And feel your nourishing rivers wind.
And there I drink, and there I sup.
Unworded prayers, they call it hope.
Without a care I dance the day,
And love the world, my gifts I spray.
Then you drape me in petals beautiful,
I awe the world like lilly pure.
